Pickup, Shipping & Returns

Free! Pick up from our space inside the CLIK Collective shared warehouse at 40 Robbs Road, West Footscray VIC 3012. You can only collect your dress on your hire start date, between 9am and 5pm. It isn't available to collect on any other day, and pick up hire start dates are Monday to Friday only. Bring your order number.

We're an online store with no shopfront. Want to see pieces on before you book? Try-ons are by appointment, so book a try-on.

We send everything Express Post, timed to arrive before your event, with a prepaid return satchel already in the bag. The $30 covers both ways, so there's nothing more to pay when you send it back.

• Melbourne metro: usually next business day
• Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Canberra: 1 to 2 business days
• Perth, Hobart, Darwin and regional: 2 to 4 business days, so allow a little extra time

We dispatch within one business day of your order. If your event is close, message us before you order and we'll tell you honestly whether it will get there in time.

We can't control Australia Post, so if you're outside metro Melbourne and your date can't move, give yourself a few days of breathing room.

Please don't clean it. Cleaning is included and it's our job. Home washing, spot-cleaning and other dry cleaners can set stains permanently, and that becomes a damage charge.

Posted hires: pop the dress back in the bag it came in, seal the prepaid satchel, and lodge it over the counter at any Australia Post outlet by the last day of your hire. Keep the receipt. Your hire ends the day you lodge it, not the day it reaches us, so a slow parcel is our problem, not yours. That receipt also protects you if a parcel goes missing.

Collected hires: drop it back to our West Footscray warehouse between 9am and 5pm on the last day of your hire. If your last day falls on a weekend or public holiday, bring it back by 5pm the next business day.

Please return everything that came with it: belts, straps, spare buttons, the garment bag and the hanger.

If no one is booked straight after you, we can usually extend your hire for $20 per day. Just ask us before your hire ends.

A late return holds up the next person's booking, so late fees are $20 per day, per dress. If something has come up and you're running late, message us before the due date. We're always much more flexible with people who let us know.

Because a dress is held just for your dates, cancellations work on a sliding scale:

• More than 14 days before your hire starts: full refund.
• 7 to 14 days before: store credit, valid for 12 months.
• Within 7 days: no refund, as the piece has been held for your dates and it's too late to rebook it.

Date changes are free if the dress is available on your new dates and you ask more than 7 days out. The full detail is in our Hire Terms and Conditions.

None of this affects your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If a dress arrives faulty, unsafe, or significantly different from how it was described, you're entitled to a remedy. Get in touch and we'll sort it out.
